Fellow Canadian,

Trust me it's best to spend the big $ on the real meters.
If not you might end up chasing a ghost problem!
Time you waste figuring out what the problem is when you
need to know your exact measurements is the time it might take to kill off your entire crop!

Just my 2 pennies.

Hey I have the yellow one the problem I found in it was there's no sponge to keep the probe wet so your always calibrating it so I wouldn't bother with it I would invest in a hana instruments HI here Hanna Instruments HI 98129 Waterproof pH/Conductivity/TDS Tester by Hanna Instruments http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ZG8L58/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_0kDzsb13DSZ8W it's a pretty penny 135 but well worth it I have one and it's on point

I have one of each, they're alright but not sure how acurate they are, good enough to get you started, but I eventually bought a good one from Sper Scintific, Cost $160, could have gone cheeper, but ordered it before realizing it....oh well....believe me it's best to spend the money and feel secure that you're readings are acurate, especially if you're doing hydro, I supose for soil it might be ok but still.....

Well I can't cancel the order now so I will use them and if they work for a grow I'll be happy but I will definitely be picking up better one's. Thx for the opinions bro's.

any meter under 100 dollars is a total piece of shit. my opinion. those numbers will be all over the place. every test. lot of people talking about issues. best to go old school . put water in the cup add drops chart it up. water quality ? if you can drink it . its more then fine for plants.
