Has Anyone Used The Organic Hepa Air Filters?

These Hepa air filters are suppose to be highly efficient according to the manufacturer.
However, manufacturers will say anything to get you to buy their product. Has anyone had experience using these & if so just how are efficient are they?

The pic above is the organic filter & the pic below is of the charcoal version. These are less cumbersome than the standard carbon scrubbers & are suppose to be as effective.

So you said you would use two to each fan? One on the intake & one on the exhaust? Or were you saying you were going to use the standard carbon scrubber & then one of these? :peace:

no, i ordered 2 & 2 so i can use for my tent and my cab. if the scrubber doesnt do a good job with air treatment, i will stick with MountainAire filters....

i've only seen the hepa air intake personally in action. but i have seen members on icmag use them.

International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums - Double Hydrohuts in Humboldt (he claims the scrubber doesnt work that well....but i believe he chose the wrong size..... plus he grows alot of plants. that is alot of odor to contain, even for one filter.)

I just bought the 8" hepa filter and it is a piece of shit. I don't know whether or not I got hustled by the shop because I bought my hepa filter used "as is" and the lady at the shop told me they barely used it as a display model. So I figured it was fine and hooked it up to my 8" can fan and barely any air is coming through. I figured maybe I wasn't getting enough pressure. So I went out to buy the new 10" can fan max that gets over 1000 CFM and still nothing! Then I tried using both fans to suck air through this thing and still nothing! So this filter as well as not letting any mold or bugs through it also doesn't let any air through. It's fucking worthless and I'm going to talk to the shop tomorrow to see what they have to say about it. I'm not sure if my filter is just fucked or if they are all this way. I'm feeling pretty sheisted right now knowing that I bought this thing with an " as is barely used" sign on it..... :-(

I thought I should follow up on this... The shop instantly knew what they sold me a fucked filter and credited me. I ended up coughing up another 109 clams to upgrade and get the 10 inch. With the can fan max on the filter it blows quite well now and is able to keep up with the exhaust which is a carbon scrubber and a 10 inch regular can fan. So all is good now I'm glad that I didn't have to buy a 95 dollar paperweight.
