Yes we are currently using the 1700e for veg. In a month were going to test i out on flowering.
We have been using both the 1150w Gavita DE, and 1000w Hortilux HPS for Seedling, veg, and flowering.
The 1700e is a great light. We start them at 24 inches, and as the plants get bigger we lower to 18 inches. We blast them from seedling through flowering. We Veg at 24 hours.

Nice I have used my black dog and have great results with it. Now I switch to these to see how they work vs HPS gavita . But that great to hear do u have any pics
