Has anyone grown Dr. Underground seeds?

I'm using Fox Farm Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom pretty much as directed as far as the ratio goes, except for the amounts. I start out with a super light feeding once the plants are at least two weeks old, but it kind of varies for me. I like to get the roots good and established before I start giving them nutes. That super light feeding I give them is 1 ml/g of Big Bloom and then 1/2 ml/g of Grow Big. That's not even 1/4 strength. I also give them 1 ml/g of CaliMagic, or maybe 1.5 to 2 ml/g.

I've started my last grow on the CaliMagic from seed, but my tap water has a very low ppm reading at 57-65. I use CaliMagic to try and get it to 125- 150. I try to gradually raise the ppm as the plant grows. I'm certainly not an expert though, I'm a student as well. You just have to be sparing with them, but not too sparing. It's a balancing act for sure. You have to get to where you can kind of read the plant and dose it according to what you see.

I've been doing DWC, so my dosages are really really light. There's no buffer for DWC plants, they're just right there in the solution, so they are really really easy to burn. I'm growing some in a soil-less mix now, so I might use slightly larger doses for these. You can get away with a little more, maybe 1/4 strength to start in a soil because the soil buffers it some.

Thanks! And yea I'm giving them co2 now. Just to boost their growth a lil. It's just that I got a small tank and I'm trying to stretch it so I can refill it before the flower cycle starts.

I like your idea, with my Painkillers I upped my game a little because I keep having same issues poping up and its lack of PK so I bought vitalink (buddy and Pk) just added it to my planner and I think it's doing its work... Never heard of the make before but it's got what I need have you guys come across it before??

I haven't heard of vitalink before. I use Botanicare line of nutes. As a first time grower I bought happy frog and ocean forest organic soil. So I figured going with organic nutes would be best.

I grew a time or two in soil, but that's been years ago, and always just one or two plants. DWC is fun. My current grow is in Coco, but the clones I get will all go to DWC. You can almost watch your plants grow in DWC. lol

i grew the mellon gum and tho buds wer not purple the leaves wer beautiful dark red and purple twords finish.. i vegged the original seed mother for 6 weeks to get her mature, then took clones and once rooted went right to 12/12.. i suggest giving clones a week of veg, not the best sog plant as they are more bushy but really beautiful to look at as the white crystals really sparkle among the green buds and colorfull leaves..good weed overall but not a great producer, finished in 58 days

very short n bushy, but clones of clones wer better sog, less branchy..great smoke covered in white glittery crystals that really stood out among the purple leaves..buds n calyxs green but nice colorfull leaves, espeacially if u drop temps last 2 weeks and a good 4-7 day flush..if u flush well it has a nice fruity smell and a mellon or mild berry taste..she doesnt stretch much so a 2-3 week veg for clones in sog..i vegged the original mother from seed for 3 months before taking clones so she was a very mature lady, but even after a long veg she didnt show sex till 10 days into flower..but it was a feminized seed so i didnt care, strong female never hermed or anything, easy to care for with basic skills but i got rid of her after 4 runs because i had much better yielders at the time that only needed a week of veg.. i really was hoping for purple buds, but ive been let down by several suppose to be purple strains now..she was overall a good plant with good smoke, wish i had made S1's but to late now.. grow well, and let me know how she turns out for you.. i still have 3 feminzed seeds of mellon gum left for the future...
