Has anyone ever seen this happen? little surpise i found when checking my baby

So i come home form work open up my case to find this growing in amongst the perlite next to my sure to grow cube
is this a weed or another plant?
if its a weed how on earth did it get in there?!

(look just to the left of the cube)



i have removed it and potted it just curious to see what it is unless someone can confirm its a weed?also if there is a possible explanation of how this could have gotten in there?
