has anyone ever made a mistake of drinking and driving?

I have made the mistake in my life. I do not do it anymore. But, some people believe that if you have done it once that it doesn't matter how many years went by and that makes you dumb. Does anyone here think that?

Anyone who doesn't?

Anyone want to share there funny mistake experiences?
 
do you think driving drunk is a funny mistake experience? it's foolish. don't try to make a joke out of driving drunk. i have done it and it's foolish. :eyesmoke:
 
Well come on. I mean ya it is stupid. But, if noone got hurt and you learned from your mistake it is. I guess that part is mostly based on opinion.

You never operated a vehicle and had a few brews. It only takes two drinks to be at the. 08 limit in nj. That's not even a buzz for me but still drunk driving in the eyes of the law

I can consume 6 beers in under and hour and still be of the legal limit. I weigh 240 pounds and I am 6'4". Regardless of the fact, at 6 beers, and NOT at the legal limit, I should not be driving. I put other peoples lives at risk. That is not a joke.
 
I have made the mistake before. I didn't damage my car or hit anyone, matter fact I drove perfect. Both times. But I have good karma. Won't do it again, because that would be abusing the good karma

That is good you learned. It is bad to do. I just know that there is like 90% of people that drive cars that have done just this.

I completely agree. You never had a " the hangover" movie experience during the process of you learning this?

i drink & drive all the time.

you make it sound like drinking & driving is equivalent to molesting a toddler.

just don't get wasted & drive.
 
1 beer in 1 hour puts me over the limit.Its .04 in my state for anybody with a CDL no matter what they are driving.I weigh over 200 lbs btw.And yes I did plenty of drunk drivingback in the days when a cop just gave you a ride home.I haven't driven drunk in 20 plus years now
 
Ya I can say that I have done that a few times,,,,not a good decision ill advised,,,Do it long enough and the consequences,,,well u get the idea.

But who drinks for the taste? So few that it's not even worth counting. People drink to get drunk.
 
I used to drink and drive all the time. This was back when liquor stores had drive-up windows and we didn't have strict DUI laws. We used to have the highest alcohol related car accident fatalities in the nation. I have no idea how I made it through unscathed. I was young and stupid back then. We had an open campus and spent time with a really cool guy from Chihuahua, Mexico (he lived across the street from the campus). He would bring mescal and other sundry items up from Mexico and make his own booze. I spent a lot of time in class half snockered from his concoctions. He used us as Guinea pigs. Anyway, I had mason jars full of that shit hidden in my truck. We would go up in the hills and build a bonfire and spend the night drunk off our asses.

How do I still have a liver?
