Harvesting soon

I'm going to be harvesting in 3-4 weeks and I'm getting more bud then I was expecting and I live in a small apartment with no wear to hang my buds. My question is after I trim everything will hurt to put them right into jars and just watch them closely for mold? Also will putting them right into jars hurt or degrade my buds? Please help me. I want to harvest the correct way so I'm not wasting my time.

Hang in your grow room. It fits in there alrady. Unless you got more plants. Make a box. Search diy drying box im sure youll find something.

Just dont put fresh buds straight into a jar. That's just asking for problems.

And I live in a small apartment so there's no room for a box or boxes to hang the buds. I'm looking to harvest 8-10 oz. 5 plants all about 4-5 ft tall

Not sure about degradation but it will take forever to dry and mold could be a big issue.

How stealthy are you trying to be? Could just hang them in the corner of a room.

Might be the medication:D talking but here's an idea. Do you have a box spring under your matress? Cut out a piece of fabric so you can get in and sting them up in there. Just put a small fan under the bed.

Basically anything is better than straight to the jar

If you absolutely have no room in your apt. maybe you know a good friend that has some place you could use? Jarring fresh buds is not an option.

That won't work unless you have some seriously fluffy buds. They need to dry a LOT before putting them in jars... so much so that almost 3/4 of your bud should disappear before you jar. If you have a place to put a few jars, you have room to hang. Grab a coat hanger or 2 and drape the buds over it. You can hang that anywhere... on a doorknob, on a nail in the wall, hell I hung mine on my clothes rack in my closet and just scooted my clothes to one side. Lol but then again a lot of people told me I smelled like weed when they were drying... haha I live in a small apartment too and could find dozens of places to hang!

The box is a good idea. You may only need 1-2. Maybe if you have a dresser or something with drawers you could just put them in there and leave it open a little. You would need to rotate them and air them out daily maybe twice a day. Also take note that it may smell very strongly while drying.

Use coat hangers in your closet or run a piece of wire or string from two fixed objects. Compared to growing, hanging doesn't take much room. I'd recommend some indirect air flow such as an oscillating fan. Usually after a week or so my stuff is ready to be jarred.
