Harvesting seeds

My friend has got a plant thats been pollinated. It has a fair few seeds but when do you know when it's ready to harvest? He took a few pods of but the seeds were more grey than brown (they are supposed to be brown, right?) and a little soft.

look at the home page of this site. you want your seeds to look like this color. dark brown in color and hard shell.

Wait till the bud is done. The seeds will be bursting out of the calyxes. Faded did a tuturial on it.

Is faded the exact user name? I did a search for his name but found nothing.

once you see a few seeds fell from pods and dropped then chances are the rest are well done
