Harvesting question!

Ok, its that time again... and i'm ready to cut my babies down... what i'm looking for is a simple guide for drying and curing... call me stupid but every drying/curing guide doesnt really help me all that much... The following is what i'm looking for.....

Once i cut down my girls how long do i let them hang for?

As soon as i hang my plants should i trim all the fan/water leaves off?

How many days should i hang them before i start trimming off buds ( i understand it varies between each plant) but what should i look for?

Once i trim off all the buds i plan on placing them on home-made chicken wire racks to dry. Roughly how long should they be on the racks before i put them in a sealed container for curing?

I guess i'm wanting to know what i need to look for before moving from one step to the next step in the drying/curing process.... Thanks a lot!

I dont know ur temp humidity and other factors.....BUT what I do is hang for 6-10 days, then i bag them for a couple of days, then to the jars when i burp twice a day....I trim some of the bud leaves off before i hang, but i'm usually baked when i do this so i leave some on and just do a final trim before i bag it....

I trim mine as soon as harvested. Hang on coat hangers in a dark room for a week. Move to freezer bags for about week. Open everyday for about 30 minutes. Then they should be ready to seal for long term storage. I like using the 2 quart wide mouth jars.
