Harvesting pot help?

i've just started getting into growing, so i talked to a few people who were knowledgeable on the subject, and they all mentioned a way to trim the bud off the plant that would allow the plant to re-flower again over the next few days. is this true? if so, how do you do it?

not next few days, you leave the bottom 1/3 and re veg then flower, takes weeks.

im guessing alot shorter amount of time than growing a new plant though, right?

prob 4 weeks going back to veg, then you got to grow a few more then flower, better going 12-12 from seed in my opinion

If you have another room and light to put what's left of them under you can reveg them while you have another crop flowering. It takes several weeks, so you would not want to wait on them. Flower another crop while they are re-vegging.
