Harvesting help.

Hi all,
This is my first grow as some of you may know, i want to know the best way of deciding when the plants are ready?
there are loads of buds on the plants but i feel like its not the best looking yield ever with allot of the buds being rather small to what i have seen in pictures etc, I have noticed a few pistils have changed color but only a small percentage of them, whens the best time to harvest? and will my buds get bigger within the last couple of weeks?

How long have they been in flower?



You can get a cheap magnifying glass to check the trichs, this is probably the most 'scientific' way of telling when to harvest. As you get more grows in, I'm sure you'd be able to read the plant by looking at it.

been in flower roughly 5 weeks, they are bag seed plants and sativa's.
