Harvesting after spider mite attack

So i did my harvest and I have a nice amount which is currently curing in jars. It smells so sour it stings my eyes. Delicious frosty buds.

I also have this box full of clippings from the harvest that i would like to make some hash. During flowering (beginning), I had a spider mite infestation pretty bad. I managed to kill it DEAD with those Giant Bug Strips.

So now all my leaves have dead bugs on them and dead eggs. what would i have to do to get the hash and not the bugs out?. Could i water cure for a few days and hopefully that will wash off alot of the bugs?

All the buds were fine because they showed up after the bugs.

What can i do?

Damn golden one, it's sad you harvested at not the optimum time just bcus of foolish pests. I would have recommended you fought them, and if you keep tabs on them you can just cut off a couple fan leaves if you see tons of eggs on them. But anyways, I would just get a knife, and just scan over the bottom side of the leaves, scraping off what you can. But as for hash, if you make bubble hash from the leaves which is great, you'll have micron screens that bugs won't fit through, and even on the extremely rare chance an egg slipped through, you'll still be fine. The egg will be dead from the hash making process, and even if it was alive, i'm faily sure nothing would happen.

Diddy, harvest according to the trichs, not pests. If your spray isn't organic, I wouldn't apply it, specially 2 weeks to harvest. Usually picking off the mites with a knife or tweezers can be done in like 5 minutes, but if you have more than a couple plants, sprays might be your best bet. Since this is marijuana, which you will smoke, we'll refrain from garlic sprays etc.. Spider mites hate water. They hate humidity. For these last two weeks, get the humidity up, even if it requires foliar misting. I've read of people having horrible spider mite infestatons, and getting rid of them completely by removing them all manually, and then misting like twice a day. If you can, try to just spray the undersides, but some on top wont bother it at all unless you have huuuge drops or water collections on the plant. And yes, you can still re-veg after your harvest. At that point the mites will be easy to control. If they stick around definitely look for long term control. Did you know: insects are perfect to blend up and use in a spray to kill the same insect. It requires gathering of the insects, but once you have a 1/2 cup of them, there will be at least one of them that is sick. Once you blend them up, and spray it back at 'em, even just the smallest contact with the spray will make them sick and they'll die off. That's usually used outdoors though lol..

I don't know anyone that picks off spider mites! There is no way that would work buddy, it would take too long and be a waste of time because there are still eggs on the plant. How do you expect to pick every single mite off of your crop, let alone one plant???

Must be a small plant if hand-picking is an option? Make the hash. The filters should catch the bones and bodies and guts. Preventative maintenance is the answer with mites. Spray the rooted clones, or seedlings w/pyrethrum, etc. while young. The residual effect should ensure no mites for 3-4 weeks. Repeat once at 2-3 weeks for eggs. This will put many a mite-free plant well into budding before plants need inspection for re-infestation.
Obviously, preventative re-spraying when 1st pistils show is wise IF you're grow is prone to attack.
I don't think I'd spray buds over a couple of weeks developed.
