Harvesting a hermie

in a few days soon and I need to know which way is going to be the most profitable.
its a tree so we are talking maybe an el-bee of this plant or more is going to be hermied.

hash with 3 diff screens

hash oil

not really experienced in this at all so tips on things like making my food taste better and what not is much appreciated since i hear hermies can have an unpleasant taste. i do want it to be quality product whatever it is to get rid of my product to a club (med user in co amend. 215 complaint)

I would say make oil out of it. You probably wont get much hash and honey oil is worth a lot more then hash. Honey oil is worth between 60-75$ a gram where i am from

If I were you, I'd dry and cure the bud like normal. Making hash out of it is a last resort. Even if you can charge $10-15 a gram for the finished bud it will net you way more than selling 2 grams of $70 honey oil made from tens or hundreds of grams of bud.

Also, if the bud still sucks or tastes bad after curing (which I doubt) you can still make hash or edibles out of it. Not only that but bud or hash made from cured nugs tastes better and gets you higher. However you can't go back and extract the original bud from the edibles. Obviously.

I have a hermie curing right now that smells amazing and gets me real high.

Thanks much for the replies. 10-15/g is something i can work with, and i guess if i was careful i could try just de seeding it. The "hermie" smell worried me but after D Master reverse was sprayed on I am noticing:

1. I think, but am not sure, seed production has stopped

2. More crystals and weight, I would recommend DM reverse for anyone wanting to try it, seems to have worked for me so far

3. Terpenes coming back out again and it is smelling on the okay side, smells like after a cure it will still be quality product.


10-15 a g is def. something I can handle. Thats not a prob at all

yeah man, I have harvested a few hermies and found them to be almost as potent as the same strain sinsemillia. O thers on here will tell you they are junk but if theres not alot of seeds then it will prolly still be good smoke. Plus the seeds will be feminised..although you will tend to get a few hermies from the seeds also, but I have found the seeds to be about 80% female.
