Harvested dry crumbly buds

This was such a long ass grow and it was ready to be Harvested. Felt really dense and had great trichomes. Now the dried bud looks super thin and over dry and crumbles when I squeeze it. This is 6 plants all over 4ft tall.

What can I do with all this non dense bud?

Its worth it ... This is one way ... But there are many videos on this.
You can use a smaller amount of bud

Thanks....I wanted to do different stuff as well....I'm just devastated. I'm curing like 20 jars and I'm gonna add the lettuce to try and fluff some up but it looks just thin and dried out.

Get some Boveda, Boost, or other moisture packs if you can. They will help a lot more than lettuce, which will mold. The sell them on Amazon or at most tobacco shops.

Boveda works great for curing but if my bud is really dry, I put a piece of damp paper towel in hanging down from the top of the jar pinched in the lid but not touching the bud. I've never had it completely dry and crumbly though.

I forgot about a tray of buds last grow and let them over dry. I jarred them up with Boveda packs and 3 days later you couldn't tell the difference. They were as nice as the ones that not been allowed to dry out. The paper towel idea would probably work too. I just like the Bovedas because they keep them at an even moisture level over a long period of time. That's great for those of us who store up our med supply. They always look and smell great when I open the jar, even months later. Not sure how long they will keep it...never had any that long! lol

How long did you dry ???
only a couple of days. Before chopping the plants....the buds felt nice and dense to the touch. We wet trimmed half and dried it a couple days and it was like crumble. I jarred it hoping to get some moisture. But even if some moisture is added.....won't it still look like shit? I have taken down some of the half trimmed branches and began to jar those. I just have so much now and can't let it all be waste. This was so much time...and money...and patience lol.

Post a pic of just a lil bit of the bad stuff your talking about ......hard to tell/help without seeing .....if you don't want to it's cool I understand .....I like to start my cure wetter than most people ...that just means I have to watch it closer and burp it more at first but depending on how bad it is ...there are ways to try to get moisture back in

Some OGK I did recently rite before cure image.jpg

I am so sad......the plants were so pretty for so long. I think I just stressed them out too much. I just can not let this all go to waste!!! I am going to chop the rest of what is still drying and throw a piece of that in with the jars. The jars in the pic is not even half of the stuff!

Can't really see what's in the jars but if you do have some wet nugs still you can mix them in with your dry to pull moisture back together ....or I've heard of people putting soaked paper towels in the tops of the kids to re moisten the bud .....it doesn't look to bad ....il bet you mix up some wetter buds in with the dry stuff you could even out the moisture .....if nothing else you could do hash ....but I think that's definately save able

You live in the desert? It can't dry that fast unless you add heat.

I agree it doesn't look bad.

Just trying to wrap my head around wet to crumble in a few days unless a heater was used.

Yeah maybe a metal shed/building or heater like you said ....that's about the only way I could figure it drying so quickly ......I keep my drying room cool dark and use a very low fan to push air around gently not at the buds just moving air in the room .......if the room starts to get the heavy warm humidity feeling I have a window unit set up to exchange the air with nice fresh air .....

They were way frostier I feel like too. This was my first time. I didn't read enough during each stage in the beginning....I never topped. I think I over trimmed the fan leaves. I had some light leaks....stressed them out.....They actually look better in the pics than in my hand. I will try to bounce them back though.
