Harvest?

I’m growing a couple of plants. This plant is much better than the other. It will be 60-65% of my harvest. The plant in a perfect environment Could go another week. The forecast is good for the next couple days. Unfortunately we are waking up to 100% humidity now. The plant has no rot and just a bit of PM, controlled. My concern is rot. I found caterpillar poop this morning. The plants have been on Monterey BT since August. It’s been 6 days since the last BT prior to this morning. I was going to try and wait a week but the caterpillar poop is fair warning. Should I chop it today? Thanks A58C23FE-9E9E-4496-A2F9-74AE1BC26D30.jpeg

Whether you chop or not is up to you. High humidity and wormy buds is not a good combination. You need to cut out anything contaminated by the caterpillars if you're not going to harvest.

Apparently the BT isn't as effective as some make it out to be if you've been using it since August and still have an issue with caterpillars.

Good luck.

Thanks all, suns out today and should be tomorrow. I’ll put them inside tonight. I have excellent old fans that will blow on them tonight. Last day out is tomorrow. I’ll leave the plant inside Saturday morning cut it, wash it and hang it Saturday after I finish playing golf.

Too funny, an intervention from Mother Nature. I was just checking the plants. Double dose of bad news. An Asian Hornet, huge, hugging a caterpillar on my plant. I’ll cut it down tonight or tomorrow. Friend today, foe in general.8144EEA4-B4C7-413D-B411-60EA1C762011.jpeg

I don’t know. I’m curious too.
True to be told, last time I did that was with some gelato 33 that a relative of mine love and knows well, and he ask me to not to do it again, it wasn't well ventilated but I think enough, so idk, I did that some time ago when my house was under construction and I has nice place to do it, and I cant say if it do aything good or bad in all.

Im treating with BT every three days right up until harvest. Great product. You have to spray early and often. Once in a while you'll get one that will sneak by.

Done, I cut it; washed it and hung it this morning. No sign of rot and minimal PM. Another week would have been nice. It’s unusual to harvest a complete plant here in the NorthEast especially this rainy year. All good.

xtsho: I wanted to harvest before commenting on Monterey BT. It works. I had gone a couple of days longer between applications than usual due to rain this past week.
