Going to be harvestin the top first and see if the bottom will grow. Any suggestions on harvesting based on these trichomes? Should I harvest tomorrow or give it another week before I start chopping?

So doesn't look like it's gonna get any fatter or danker if I chop it tomorrow or next week?Looks ready.

Ready? I see a lot of clear and half cloudy trichs. I'd give it another week. It'll fatten more and build thc %. I see zero amber. At least wait till it's 100% cloudy. Unless you want a racier high

Wait until you start seeing amber trichomes on the buds. First sign of amber is when I harvest.

either get a usb microscope or a decent lighted jewelers loupe, both available for cheap off of amazon and ebay. look at the trichs on the actual buds, not on leaves. when the clears are gone and you start to see ambers, thats when to cut
Thanks you so much for them props. First go around growing bud, grown all organic under led. Honestly didn't expect to be so successful on the first grow. All clones are looking better than mothers ever did. Now it's on to buying some known genetics and giving away the bagseed strain unless it's the dankest thing ever.

Same man!! First grow here!!! We both are looking nice! I still see some cleats in there tho I would wait till all milky and a couple more amber. I want to chop mine right now but I'm holding off. Going to check again tonight haha

give it another week, next time u take picture, please turn off led for a bit, that would help determine. Personally see a lot of clear, few cloudy, nice grow btw

I would stop giving "advice" when you are on your first grow. You, just like me, don't know what you are talking about yet and it's very frustrating to have a bunch of wannabeknowitalls give advice based on zero personal experience.How's my advice, did I nail it?!

To be honest people should really explain to first time growers that they should really look at the buds to determine if they are ready to chop.
You still have maybe 2-3 weeks. Trust me your plant is a beautiful, just do her justice and let her go a little more.
Do yourself a favor and really look at pictures of buds ready for harvest. Going by trichs can be misleading because sometime amber can show when the bud still has like a small % left to finish. Experienced growers will tell ya that the buds swell up the most at the last weeks of its life cycle.

In my opinion pistils is the best way to determine if the plant is ready. If you have the eye for it that is.
I did wait until most of the pistils were orange but honestly am still afraid I harvested a little early. Still have some giant buds thoufh. they're hanging and smelling like hay. I only did a partial harvest to let smaller buds develops so I'll let them go abother week or so. I cut the tops this past Tuesday
