Cut the the plant when you choose - everyone has their own way to decide. In general, when 75% of the hairs have gone orange. Some folks go by smell etc... anywhere from 8 - 16 weeks in flowering.
Hang to dry for a week or 2
Put them into glass jars
open the lids everyday for a 1/2 hour or so.
Do this for a couple weeks.
Then leave them sealed in the jar/s until you want to smoke 'em
For a 'gotta have it now', I microwave it for 5-10 seconds to wilt it. Then dry in a dehydrator for about 2 hours. Comes out similar to watercuring. Fairly smooth, but lacks in flavor...
