HARVEST TIME !! My First Grow :P PICS n ALL

Hey guys,

Alright so I decided to try out my hand at growing about 7 months ago and failed miserably (tried to use a normal light bulb, dirt from the back yard etc).
So I decided fuck it ill do my research and go from there.
I ended up buying a grow tent, 600W MH/HPS, 6inch centrifugual with mountain air carbon filter and silencer etc etc.
Decided I would grow in a Coco medium, seemed easy with decent yeilds without the hassle of bugs etc that u get from soil.
My first grow so didnt want to encounter too many problems along the way !!
The strain is bagseed, looks to be a sativa dom, smells potent frosty az and the bud it came from was crazy good so yeah !!
Anyway vegged her out for a while then flipped.... 85 days later and here she is....

SWeeeet!! looks like a very nice haul man! u could probably donate them to ur local little-league baseball team if they need some bats too! Hope they taste as sweet as they look!

Hahahaha now that would be something to see, lil fellaz running around with giant nugs heheheh !!! Im hoping they do too man, ill dry her out and cure her nice and good for 2-3 weeks then try her out.... if there is any left by that stage lol !!

Thanks mate, At the end of it its all a big learning curve, I know I still got heaps to learn. But im happy to know that with the knowledge I currently have thanks to many on RIU that Iam able to to produce half decent nugs for myself. Mates when these are all cured up n stinkin nice, there will definitely be smoke in the air !!!!

Nice job my friend!!! I am in the middle of my first grow and hope I can get pull in something like that. I use an aeroponics system that I had to move because the plants were outgrowing their first home. Only under a 250Watt HPS but they are still doing well. Did you look at trichomes when you harvested to determine when you would cut them? Just wondering because I do see a lot of threads and comments about people saying "you harvested too early, the trichomes are still too clear or not amber enough". They say this supposedly has a big part in potency and I am not questioning that, just don't know first hand. Once again, job well done man.

Thanks mate appreciate it !! Aeroponics seemed a little to intense and in depth for my first grow hence I went with the Coco. Very easy to use maintain and even fix at times !! Hope your plants flourish man !!!
Yeah I checked the trichs before harvest lol. I actually been checking them for the last 4-5 days jus trying to pick the moment for when I want her.. Nice milky cloudy trichromes 95% and 5% of jus starting to amber trichs !!
I dont think we should really leave plants till you have 50% amber trichs as its already starting to degrade and you still have time to dry and cure the thing which will ripen a little there also. But then again each to there own, more of a couchlock high when left to long !! I want a good overall smoke and still be able to function

hahaha yeah I bought her last night just for the chop and trim session lol !! I had my own little party with Mary Jane !! Plus it was a good way to show the actual size of the nugs....

I havent weighed it up yet, hmm wonder what I might get at the end....

You in the land down under? I myself am from the US. State is medical mj legal and laws are going our way at this point if you catch my drift.

What time/day is it there right now? That is one of the most intriguing/interesting parts of the world that I would love to visit someday. My sister was there about 10-15 years ago but I watch a lot of shows about the wildlife there like the salt water crocs, box jellies, great whites (which we have in our neck of the US) the great barrier reef, funnel web spiders (holy shit those fuckers are ). I have alway been fascinated with your land! Seems as though you guys and us are a lot alike. Not everyone like to be associated with the US but like you said earlier " to each his own". Can't always make everyone happy, just try not to make too much trouble and mind my own business. Not worried about the keeping up with the "JONESES" so to speak.

Mate its about 11:30am here right now, Im sitting in my office at work right about now with a small nug drying out in the sun on my window sil. Might stick a fan on her in a second so I can get it smoke-able by lunch lol !!!
Yeah we have shitloads of salties (saltwater crocs), box jellies and great whites... but the real sharks you need to be worried about are not the great whites, its our bullsharks....evil angry critters with lots of sharp teeth !!
Mate the Sydney Funnel Web spider is the most intense spider in the world, scary cunts they are... and so so agressive... helped my missus brother with work on the weekend (he does pest control) and we came across a funnel web hole... thing rushed out and chased us....too scared to step on it cause it could penetrate the steel cap work boots I had on.... hahahaha mate its a very beautiful but dangerous island !! Jus gotta keep ya wits about ya

Oh we have bull sharks in the US and have watched more than my fair share of shows about those things. Allegedly have the most testosterone of any animal on the entire planet and love to come in shallow murky water. Things have been found 2,000 miles up the Amazon river so also found in fresh water. Running into one of those would ruin your day I think. Seen some pretty big fucking Tiger sharks off of Australia when Croc Hunter was in a cage and his wife was in the boat getting checked out by the sharks. First time I ever saw that guy scared. Saw someone milking a funnel web spider for anti-venom purposes and when they were prodding the thing it was sooooo mad the venom was dripping out of those enormous fucking fangs. Keep your wits about you, I'd say you better or you won't be around long. Enjoy your lunch, it is 9:50 PM here and pretty much going to bed after Hockey game is over. Have to get up and do the thing you are doing right now in about 6 hours.

You do the same if you are ever in "The land of the FREE, and the home of the BRAVE", We can have a couple of FOSTER'S and a couple of bong hits of the chronic.
