i trim first, then hang. i prefer a nice close trim. if u wait the sugarleaves start to shrivle up and lay agaiinst the bud making it harder to get a close trim. thats just my opinion. hope it helps ya. do a test. trim some and leave some and see what you prefer. peace and happy harvesting

Yeah, that would be my other question...how do you recover all the sticky stuff from your hands/gloves?

so the minute you cut your tree down you trim it? and then you hang it to dry for about 24 hours right? then you cut the buds from the stem and put it in airsealed jars or something like it?
i have never harvested in my life and i can bet my ass im gonna screw it up

wear the latex gloves when your done put them in the frezzer for awhile then you can pull the sticky goodness off later. oh and while your trimmin every so often scrape your scissor blade and pop it in a bowl for a few quick hits. instant gratifacation

i cut, trim, let dry for almost a week then go to the jars and burp them daily. there is a thread on here some where that really goes in to detail more

Btw, is it only the sugarleaves that you make haschish out of? or is it fan leaves and all of that?

once again it depends. i only use the sugarleaves others use it all.

so you do cut it and trim it at the same time? thats what i was hoping i would +rep you if i knew how

oh before i forget, one teeny weeny question. when trimming and collecting the leaves for hasch, do you store it in the freezer right away? im buggin

here's the best thread on harvesting. I like the idea of trim, then hang and only cutting a branch or two at a time to combat fatigue without feeling you're on a timer:

here's how i did mine.when they dry i put them in a green plastic container with a lid & take the lid offeach day to let in fresh air.

is that yours icecold? or just the same way as you harvested yours? (speakin about the pic)
if it is yours, how much did you get out of one plant? 10 grams?
