Harvest soon, Need help!

I need a detailed step by step process of how to harvest, what to cut, what to save, what to throw away, how to dry, etc

Will someone please help, i dont understand what to do besides take buds off of plant.

cut base of plant with sharpe clean knife
trim all the leaves with sisers or garden clippers
hang upside down of washing line or what ever
it takes about 7 - 14 days useualy
but when the stork will snap easyly and hear a snap/crack sound when thay snap there done
happy smoking

I wouldn't recomend snapping storks

what matool said, then save the dried buds i jars in a dark room for a week or so, moving them around and letting the buds air out while they cure. then smoke it!

so how do you dry and cure?

trim the buds, clip away any leaves sticking out of the bud so it looks like something you'd get from a nice bag but leave all the buds on the stem. when you dry it, hang the branches upside down in a dark room with a fan. hopefully you'll have a room where you can shut a door because it's going to stink up everywhere. once they're dry, you can tell they're dry if the stems snap. when you cure you can take the buds smaller than a gram for smoking while you wait for anything bigger to cure. just pop the big buds in a mason jar or two or more if you're lucky. shake the jar around so the moisture doesnt settle in one spot and make mold, also open the jar to let air in at least once or twice a day.

Well, first you search this fantastic site for info on this topic. As there's plenty of it. That's what i would recomend OP.

agreed u can read for a week on here just for harvesting and curing chances r most questions from newbies on here have already been answered. read read read then read some more thats how i learned

When I go to a library, If I can't find what I want, I ask a librarian...same as a forum site I guess...there is sooo much info it can almost be overwhelming as to where to start. And for a forum to run, people must ask questions, and questions that have been asked before are answered again, or as sine143 done, points a fellow grower in the right direction.....

Plus not everyone details everything they do, and everyone does it differently....I for example put my drying buds, still on stems in a paper bag for a couple of days before jarring, just as a final dry before cure.....

Good luck, thatswhatuget, it's a great time your first harvest...enjoy it while it lasts, cause future ones will just bring memories of sore fingers and cramped up hands from snipping, hahaha

p.s get a pair of plastic/rubber gloves (without any talc or powder on them) you will not regret it...otherwise you will be washing your hands for nother week as everything you touch will stick to you.

It's been covered here really - cut all the leaves off, hang them for 1.5-2 weeks then stick them in jars. I was told on here when I first started to open the jars for half an hour 2-3 times a day and move them around for a few weeks then just store and smoke as needed/wanted...I wouldn't recommend shaking personally as trichomes can come off, but move them all around (like - stick your hand in and move the bottom buds to the top every couple of days then repeat...)

Hell, it works for me...and if its your fave strain (which it probably WILL be if you don't buy bud on the streets and get to smoke often generally...) you wanna make SURE you get it right

do u have to hang them or is there something else u can do?
