Harvest Seeds please help

How do you know when to harvest seeds? I did some pollinating for the first time and I know the buds are done which makes me sad but the seeds are not. Do I have to wait till the bud dies and releases its seeds? I dont want this bud to go to waste i crossed AK47 X GDP. Anyone have a link i can read?

I dont think you need to let it go that long but id say mabye 2 weeks after bud reaches its peak harvest window.

if you want the weed, harvest if you want the seeds more then wait, untill the "cone" around the seed opens and you can see the brown seed, then pick the seed - it should just fall of when you touch it if its ready

Looks like you can´t have both!! It helps if you pollinate about 4 weeks before you expect to harvest - seeds need this long to mature.

id just let the buds go as long as u can if ur wanting the seeds..but dont mess up ur bud...to many next years and to many seeds out there for that lol, good luck
