harvest question

long story short i have to be away this weekend, my buds are about 1/6th covered in red hairs, do i harvest now? could it be too long to wait till sunday if i dont do it tomorrow?

there are a lot of factors - some people harvest when there are lots of red hairs, but i think that is often too early - you certainly do not risk over ripening by letting them go a weekend..
my new way is to watch for the hairs to recede into the nugs and use a magnifier to see the trychomes turning color..

best thing u can do, is look at the trichomes, but I think you can wait. you didnt post any pictures so it's really hard to tell, nor do we know what kinda strain you are growing or how long they ahve been in flowering stage. so your guess is better than ours.

Pictures dont matter. Look at the trichs. If ya dont know wat trichomes are, use the search feature for harvesting. Chances are yer plants are not gonna be "too done" (have ya ever seen over-ripe bud?)

and if u do kno wut trichs are the its best to get a magnifying glass and either do 50 milky and 50 amber or if u want it at the peak the do 70% milky and 30% amber

Waaaaiiitttt until at least 50% of the hairs have receeded, you've probably got several weeks if only 20% of the hairs have turned.
