Harvest Question....thoughts please!

I was very happy with what I smoked last night. If anything, the stone was a little too heavy with strong indica characteristics. It also carried a very very strong body buzz and would be an excellent smoke for pain relief. It was surprsingly smooth, being that it wasn't cured - but it did taste and smell pretty bad.

Thanks VT for the link - it is very helpful indeed. @Passout - I check the trichs daily. I have a 30x scope as well as a 60x-100x scope Virtually all are cloudy but none are amber - maybe the odd one here and there, but less than 1%. Based on my sample smoke....these babies are done! Thanks everone for your help and thoughts - all greatly appreciated. I will post some pics of the buds hanging to dry when I get all chopped, pruned and hung up. Wheel to the Storm and Fly!

there's not much i wouldnt do to help a fellow friend of jerry's period end of story!

My growing teacher taught me different that this. I was told trichs go from clear ,then to cloudy then to amber and degredation. Then i saw this video and im thinking im on the right track but to each his own i guess.
I never had my trichromes go from milky straight to amber. They allways start to become less and less milky to a more foggy(translucent) with maybe a hint of amber to them, but its really hard to tell. That's when I like to harvest. I'm not trying to re-write anything, its what I've been seeing under the microscope. Trying to hit the sweet spot between the body buzz and head buzz.

Agreed, leaves naturally yellow in the final weeks. Even moreso as you discontinue nutrients, and flush during the last 7-10 days with plain water.
