Harvest I've gotten so far....

Ok, this past Friday evening I went out and harvested about 1/2 of my outdoor grow for the season. There are still 12 plants in cornfields that I need to get but I still have a week or so till the corn is harvested.....I'll head back out this weekend to get the rest.... As for now, I have it all trimmed and drying. I probably have 10 or 12 hours in trimming but saved alot of time by buying a pair of rechargable grass shears to use on the biggest buds.

Everything is drying on a 30 in x 8 ft portion of screen (for rabbit pens) with air circulating.

Also are pics of White Widow and AK-47 that I have inside.

That was about 10 plants....still have around that many more to do still but some of them are pretty small since they are in a crappy field.... I had another field of 30 plants that I couldn't find.....I've been out there a few times looking for them with no luck. I think they got sprayed with chemicals and died.....Maybe I'll check one more time and if I'm lucky, I'll find them! If I could have left the ones I harvested, out in the field for another 2-4 weeks, I think things would have doubled.

haha,dude your plant finding troubles are easy to solve...just maybe a little pricey but by the look of your crop i think you could find a way to come up with the funds for a GPS. I have a Garmin...the cheapest one i could find...it saves the EXACT path to 1m that you walked/drove ETC.....just don't let anyone find your GPS! HAHA!

Yes, I actually have one! But I tried using it for plants that I knew the location of, and it walked me in circles. haha. I stored locations of each group of plantings....Check out my grow journal (link below). YES! I hit 200 posts with this reply! lol

They could have still used some time but better safe than sorry is my thinking!

Everything is pretty well dried now....it's been 6 days since harvest.....There are a few bigger buds that the stems aren't snapping on yet but they are close....another day or two should do it.

I weighed everything that is dry so far and got 2 pounds. Not as much as I was hoping for but I still have several plants outside that need harvested....If I only had more time to let them plump up! haha

Wow man looks great! I had 13, and some were up to 8 feet tall! But let's just say things didn't go my way =\.. Atleast I know what they would look like chopped layin on a table! lol

Harvest update....

I went back out and got the rest of the plants in the fields. I ended up with another pound after it was all said and done. So all-in-all 3 lbs. total is what I got.

I also just harvested the WhiteWidow and Ak-47 I was growing......It's drying now. I'm in the process of building a large bud dryer.....Hope to make some more progress on it this weekend. (Thank God it's Friday! lol)

Also, I'm going to try a propetual grow, getting a harvest every two weeks or so. I have 11 mother plants started, and I'm sure that's overkill, I have 7 clones, (AK-47, WhiteWidow, and 1 Northernlights) and 4 seed grown plants (AK and WW also). I'll start a new journal for that soon.
