Harvest Advice

Hey guys,

I'm just looking for some advice on this years harvest. Although everything went south this season early I still ended up with 12 females ranging in size from 2 feet to 6 feet. I'm expecting anywheres from 1-3 pounds depending on mold at the end of season and drying.... which is what I'm looking for advice on. I have always dried indoors in a nice environment but due to a recent move I have absolutely nowhere to dry except a shed that sits 20 feet away from my neighbours with no lock and electrical hookups.

So I'm considering drying outdoors under a tarp or maybe build something small for drying outdoors but I;m worried about mold. I have had bud rot in my area in previous years and they are flowering late this year so I don't expect to harvest until October. I've always chopped by sept 25. in previous years. Some years theres a first frost in october, but last two years it wasn't until November. Will bud dry outdoor under a tarp with night temps between 3-8 celcius?

Another option is to buy a small grow tent and carbon filter and put it in my shed but I'm still worried that wouldn't be enough to block the smell and I don't think the women would go for that.

I have dried indoors in paper bags before as well just sitting in a closet with some air flow, what about those large paper leaf bags drying outdoors in a dryarea?

Or perhaps I trim all the bud thoroughly before hanging outdoors and use one of those hangable nets to allow good air flow.

Any ideas?

Couple pics from some good times and bad times this season, live and learn...two healthy ones are from two months ago.

Is that fert on the ground in the 3rd picture? They look really burnt!

As for drying im pretty sure the humidity makes more of a difference than the temp, so if its cold and dry you should be fine. You can make a wood frame pretty cheap and tarp it, if the smell wasnt a worry while they were growing you should be fine during drying.

What are your day temps?

No those are from MAy when we got a couple freak frosts, those plants have died unfortunately. Day temps are between 5-12 celcius come harvest time.
