Hardish water 200-210, a couple of questions.

Hi, just a few questions about the hard water issue that I have not been able to find a clear and to the point answer to in any of the threads that come up from searching.
1. My tap reads 200-210ppm should I start using the Hard Water FloraMicro? (ive seen it written both that 200 is at the high end of acceptable for regular Micro and also that anything over 180-200 should use the Hard Water Specific Formula)
2. When mixing my formula I let my tap water set out for min 24hrs, then I mix in my nutes, which usually come out to 6.2Ph, then I Ph down to 5.5. Afterwards I use what I need and let the rest sit till the next watering. Last time I watered I checked the drain off and it was 6.5 and I was putting it in @5.5 (which I assume means that the PH in the rockwool was OVER 6.5?) I pre-soaked my rockwool for 24hrs in an aerated solution @5.0 and I made sure to Ph the rockwool in the solution to 5.5 before I drained it for use. Now my questions is, does hard water have anything to do with a stable PH? Could it be the cause of the spike in the rockwool? Any and all info is greatly appreciated, thanks.

It's possible if your tap is really high like 9 but i'm no expert. I have 220 tap and mix it with RO 50/50 brings me down to 100, RW comes at a ph of 7 and always seem to jump in the begining for me. Even after the 24hr soak at 5.5. That hardwater micro is for 300 and up, atleast that's what they claim. just watch it for a week i bet you'll see it starts to stabilize.

My tap water comes in at 219, I have used hardwater micro back to back with micro and the plants grew stronger with hardwater micro. The 219 ppm in my water is almost all calcium, perhaps other minerals would react differently.
