Hard water and hydroponics

I have just figured out that my tap water is fairly hard and I have been using this water in my reservoirs for the last month or so, after doing some research about using hard water I'm fairly certain I can attribute my plants stunted growth to this issue, so I changed all my reservoirs to RO water this weekend. My question is will these plants recover ?

thanks vostok, after reading a little about magnesium deficiency all symptoms point that direction. I'm gonna try the Epsom salt tonight and hopefully I can get these little girls back on track and if not at least I've found out my issue. I've got 2 plants right now, the first is a 1 month old reserva privada ultraviolet automatic strain and the other is a 2 week old female seeds iced grapefruit

you going to use that epsom foliar? id reccomend. but if you switched to ro i would also recommend picking up some cal/mag to bring your ppm's back up, take this with a grain of salt as im no hydro grower.

Already got the cal-mag when I switched to RO but thank you for commenting! I'm gonna put some Epsom in the res and foliar feed also

Get yourself a TDS pen. Keep your PPms @ about 1300 during flower - and around 800-900ish for veg....CaMg+ is great to have around for your deficiencies.....

Check out the Lucas Formula if you want a steady "one size fits all" hydro nutrient program. It's simple. No need for supplements or anything w/LF...Hard water is a bummer, but, if you keep your PPMs steady it won't be an issue..

Seems like you're doing rad. Keep it up.
