Harborisde Oakland Cherry Pie Has BALLS!

Well my cherry pies I bought from harborisde Oakland are 2 weeks into flowering and have legit balls....they had preflowers when i bought them and they didnt show any sign of balls in the last few waterings

this is fucking bullshit, my whole fucking grow could be ruined now!!!!!!! Im beyond pissed!!!! cant get solid clones from anywhere!

edit: I bought these clones Aug 28 so if you got cherry pie around that time, or from harborside keep your eyes peeled

I'm growing the identical cuttings and am just over 2 weeks into flowering and they look amazing. No problems what so ever. It's likely not the clones, but something wrong in your room.

these dont look like nanners to me that happen as a result of a light leak....this plant looks like it was straight up 50/50 male female @ flower

Mine look about a week ahead of yours and I'm not having that problem at all. Just checked. So I don't think it's the cutting.

But those are fucked dude. Cut your losses, get those out of there ASAP. If you let those go any longer you'll be making a big mistake.

im glad yours didnt end up like this....my room is pitch black dude im better than light leaks! the plants are already chopped, going to try to make at least a little hash from them.......hopefully i can try the strain again i was really excited about them

Maybe Miscbrah got a different cut than Dan. Aren't the harbourside clone employees known to mix up cuttings?

Unless it's seriously hermie prone a plant can handle a little light leak.

we are waiting on a Cherry Pie, should be ready next week or two tops. I'm curious, for those that have tried it before. I've been told and read that it a cut above most strains and really something special. Is that true, or is it just a good strain with a unique taste?

yeah im not 100% but im pretty sure he grabbed his a week or 2 b4 me...but regardless, the plants were cut down...i need to try it out again though

Yeah i remeber reading something about how they were switching up GSC clones. And dan heard them.

If cherry pie tends to herm, perhaps someone sold cutts that were grown from bagseed CP to HS. Iv seen some grows that had bad light leaks and none of the plants hermed. Just never really ended preflowering stage.
Either way it isnt something to be ignored. Sorry brah.

Are there multiple versions or phenos of Cherry Pie floating around? I have a cut given to me as Cherry Pie and was told it was one of 3 phenos floating around the area I picked them up in. I haven't flowered her out yet so I am still unsure if she's really cherry pie.

ive noticed after i bought my cherry pies i havent seen any more cherry pies at harborside........ive been waiting to pick up some more but i definitely havent seen any since i started vegging mine out

Cherry pie is known for doing that. The balls are blanks though

So our Cherry Pie has been plucked, dried and cured. We had Fire OG, Harlequin, Ocean Kush, Bubba Kush and a Northern Lights/White Widow cross. Cherry Pie is head and shoulders above those. I don't know that to necessarily has a higher THC ratio, but the overall effect sure is my favorite

Mine just started doing this too. Almost ready to harvest so I'm trying to pull them off and let them go, but yes, IMO stay far away from this strain.

Not that I'm aware of, but that is possible.

ive been reading around and i keep hearing the male balls with no pollen or blanks but i wasnt about to risk it....so i dunno.....I clipped a few to save and threw them in the freezer...whats the word in your experience dan?

I hadn't heard about it until this thread. But after seeing them on mine, I asked my friend who's a clone buyer/seller for a club that deals with dark heart. He said that he got a ton of complaints and they aren't going to carry the strain anymore.

Personally it's making me really nervous. I'd toss them except I'm very close to harvesting right now. One thing is for sure, I'll never grow this strain again. Also it makes me wonder about dark heart nursery in general. They cut really healthy clones, but they also are obviously not even flowering out their strains before selling them. I'd rather have unhealthy clones covered in bugs and pm from a pheno I know is awesome than a really pretty healthy looking clone that's just a random untested pheno that could possibly hermie on me.
