Happy Gelato Auto Harvest, looks amazing :)

Strain: 1xgelato and 1xMexican airlines
Light: Spider Farmer SF 1000 Led Grow Light
This plant was a beast from pre flowering right through to harvest. As it was my first grow it really made things easy for me! I did a lot of research before and during the grow on different sites and examined others a lot on growdiaries but didn't expect results this good. Must be top class genetics from fast buds. This smoke is nicer than most I've had and I've been to Netherlands a few times!

11 and a half weeks from germination to harvest. Then two weeks of drying at 50% to 60% humidity and about 20 degrees Celsius.
97g of buds that are nice and dense, smell like ice cream and are sticky as fuck. Happy days

I still just don’t get the point of autos. Unless you’re running a perpetual indoor grow or looking for a summer outdoor harvest whats the point?

I'm sure everyone has their own reason as to why its more suitable for them. For me... i just want something to harvest quickly in a very small space so I can burn and work on the photos

See heres the thing ... if you want to harvest quickly in a small space PHOTOS are better ... you can control the size by determining the length of the veg period ... I've had a few autos get huge on me... and most have them have taken just as long as a photo plant, going 90+ days to harvest

Autos do have lots of purposes ... indoor perpetual and early outdoor harvest as mentioned ... also ita fun to be able to chuck one in the veg tent for shits and giggles or to reup your stash while working on pheno hunts or breeding etc

But the one purpose they arent good for is the one that everyone seems to buy them for haha. They can also be a pain in the ass ... they are very nute sensitive. There are a few strains that are good for what you describe but you have to be very selective.

Even though I am no fan of anything that has gelato in it, your plants and buds looked super nice so I at least wanted to tell you that, really you did a awesome job!
