So for the more experienced Hans panel growers , what do you recommend starting off with in the light settings? 'Seed' or just go 'flower' once they go under the lights? Which mode promotes the most growth in a month as I plan on veg for a month then grow outside in the bush.

I find that the 24w seedling mode is fine until they are like 6inch tall. But if you want to go the full wattage, its not like its using a ton of energy.
I keep it around 6-7 inches from the tops.

In flowering I am experimenting with light heights, it seems that having some distance might be beneficial. Like 11-12 inches from tops.

Welcome to the club, OP. I'm using just one Hans panel for flowering and veg and it's doing a great job, for my microgrow at least.

I did not care much for the "Seedling" setting. My last seedling, that popped after I had switched to "Motherplant" setting (40something watts) was growing perfectly with almost no space between nodes. Use that and you can switch to flowering setting (56w) in a couple of weeks tops IMO.

Panels got here safely. Packed really securely. Opened them and tested them and packed them back up for moving. Bright little fuckers they are.

My panels are what I would call the Gen. 1 Veg/Mother panels. The new ones have different chips. I believe he has switched to Osram on the full-spectrums.

A word to the wise. Don't look into these things when you turn them on. They come to full power almost immediately. I have glaucoma and I am still seeing spots from making that mistake.

They weigh almost nothing. 2 panels in one box and very securely packed. After seeing these, I am tempted to order 4 more of them. I have complete confidence in their performance as veg panels but can't say anything about flowering.

I guess Im gonna have to test em out in flower :eyesmoke: After seeing PSU's thread and a few others that are floating around, I am pretty excited to try it out. Especially if hes using better chips, and maybe even added some whites....maybe.

Now Im just gonna have to decide on the genetics for the inaugural run!
