I saw that live and while I can't defend the lie, mistake, error... whatever, I will note that if it was an intentional lie as the time and time again proven liar Olberman accuses it of being, it's strange that Hannity played the video footage of Obama saying they weren't bad people 5 seconds before he made the incorrect statement. I noticed in the video above, that fact was strangely left out.

So just for the record so there won't be any further mistakes made... he plays the unedited footage, exactly as Olberman did, then 5 seconds later makes the statement. Considering how skilled of a liar he is, it strikes me as how unusual it would be to play the footage if you were going to intentionally lie about said footage a few seconds later. Not defending the statement, just the intention. Hannity is obviously a shill for the Republican party and he also cares deeply about his career. It seemed strange when I saw it live, not because he didn't accurately comment on Obama's statement, but because of the contradiction with the footage he was obviously hearing himself right before he made his accusation.

No they don't.

But I won't say that they are idiots (well I will but don't really think that). I just think they are media savvy. They know that the people that believe in them won't care if they flat out lie when they have the contradiction there a couple seconds away. Because they know they will be called out on it. The people that believe in them will not care, and the people that don't understand it is business as usual.

My guess Hannity will use this attack on him, to show "how the liberal main stream media is just out to attack anything that they can and are using my mistake as a way to discredit the entire republican libertarian movement, to push the argument away from the socialist health care agenda that the facist Annoited one is promoting."

What a double standard. When conservatives make a mistake, they "lie." When liberals lie and cheat on their taxes, they "hit the wrong button on TurboTax.

Olbermann is a douche bag, and a shill for General Electric, who has fallen so far in the ratings, he has to stand on stilts to read the news that's put in front of him.

A 'mistake'? Hahaha! Kind of like the 'mistake' Bush made about WMD or trying to insinuate a connection between Iraq and 9/11...that kind of 'mistake'?

Silly conservatives, Hannity flat out lies about what Obama says and the guy who calls him out on it is a shill, yet Joe Wilson calls Obama a liar in front of Congress (even though it has been proven that Obama was telling the truth) and he's a hero. Save your 'double standard' speech for the bathroom mirror.
