I saw that live and while I can't defend the lie, mistake, error... whatever, I will note that if it was an intentional lie as the time and time again proven liar Olberman accuses it of being, it's strange that Hannity played the video footage of Obama saying they weren't bad people 5 seconds before he made the incorrect statement. I noticed in the video above, that fact was strangely left out.
So just for the record so there won't be any further mistakes made... he plays the unedited footage, exactly as Olberman did, then 5 seconds later makes the statement. Considering how skilled of a liar he is, it strikes me as how unusual it would be to play the footage if you were going to intentionally lie about said footage a few seconds later. Not defending the statement, just the intention. Hannity is obviously a shill for the Republican party and he also cares deeply about his career. It seemed strange when I saw it live, not because he didn't accurately comment on Obama's statement, but because of the contradiction with the footage he was obviously hearing himself right before he made his accusation.
