half way through flower and

It's a damn hermie. I'll attach pics. As you can see I didn't catch them in time and they did release some pollen. It seems the majority of it just kinda piled up on the branch. However, they are only on the lower prolly 30% of the buds and I found about 6 opened maybe 3-4 unopened. I removed them and cleaned up the pollen best I could. Looking for someone who has dealt with this tragedy before and how it turned out. Could the top half be fine or is a pretty much guarantee all the buds will have seeds?

It would really have a lot to do with the air flow..
I've had this happen a couple times since I started using femed seeds.. if the pollen did get around you will be able to tell by the pistils dying off after being pollinated.. hope they all stay white!!

it happens sometimes you find them right up the top of the plant and no seeds still or just a few

I mean self pollination later into flower normally you don`t get too many worse is if it spunks all over something that`s 2 to 4 weeks into starting bloom

Have you got a light leak, or stress or just bad luck due to fem`d seeds ?

Kali mist always seems to chuck out some balls in flower some strains have a tendency for it feminizing them normally makes it worse but depends on who did them and how well they stress tested the parents

The strain in called Luckyland. Candyland x lucky charms. They were regular seeds. I got from a friend that works for a large scale grow in Idaho. My best guess like you mentioned is prolly light leak. It's day 43 flower. Hoping for the best

go in the grow at night and stay there till you get night vision and block up any light leaks

Reg`s are normally less likely to do it

oh well looks like your gonna be canna ball picking till harvest

Thanks for the reply man I'm sorry I didn't see it yesterday. What do you mean by it has to do with air flow?

If you have your fans setup with an inlet in the bottom and exhaust out the top.. this could cause the pollen to be carried up into the buds.. the pollen may not even be viable!? When this happened to me it wasn't a big loss.. just some annoying green seeds... if it happened sooner you would get viable fem'd seeds.. any dead hairs yet?

Are all 4 pics of the same plant? The first 3 pics look male I can't see any pistils anywhere. In the fourth pic just the opposite

The feminizing process does nothing to the dna of the plant, nor does it introduce hermies to the gene pool if they're not there already.. so, if you start out with wank genetics, you'll get wank offspring, but this holds true for regular seeds as well as fems..


spraying a plant with a chemical such as collodial silver is the only reason the plant will grow stamenite flowers, no chems, no balls.. so long as the plant is not hermie prone to begin with, the fem'ed process will not do anything to make an otherwise healthy plant grow balls.. no chems, no balls..

this goes for regular seeds, or fems.. so long as you start out with stable plants, the offspring of those plants will also be just as stable as the parents..


It does suck though because the flower in the pic shows that it has unleashed full force. When it gets to this point there is enough pollen to get the whole crop. Cannabis is a wind pollinated plant so the pollen will travel your air flow and stivl to anything it can. I have visited my outdoor crops to pull males before come back take my clothes off outside. Hit the shower and then finally visited my indopr garden. I ended up finding a few seeds in my indooor bud on that round. I was using very stable genetics at the time.. Cloned from a mother never had a male or hermie problem. i only really can point to the fact that i had pollen all over me after ripping at least 10 large flowering males and brought it back with me

All canna plants can produce male flowers

breeders normally use CS or GA3 or lighting stress to induce male flowers to make their "female seeds"

Such plants will hermi if you copy the process used to hermi the "daddy" plant

Light leaks cause balls

anyone growing inside for a long time that`s had a light leak or ran a big veg next to a big flowering area has probably seen this happen

but "female" seeds are more likely to hermi don`t give a fuck what anyone says, the hybrid a sativa/indica and you have no clue what might happen longer flowering potential so more of a chance of it chucking balls out later in flower for sure
