Half Soil/ Half DWC

I need opinions on this I've been wondering how good it would work cause they say that mj uptakes water from the lower roots and uptakes all the other essentials from the top half of the roots. So with that said how good do you think it would work with an 4'T-5 High outputs x 8...any help would be gladly appreciated...also how many mj's u think I could have goin for the light. Dude, I would rather get a real hps than running a flo.

You cant get thick bud from a flo, its literally impossible, and plus the yields will be alot less.

imho, Great for vegging, but not for budding.

Half of your plants in soil and half in DWC?if this is your first grow I would
stick to soil. It sounds like your first grow... And flowering under the T5
will be weak production. No matter how many tubes.

Hey thanks for the reply I just havnt found anywhere in my area to get good nutes yet..also I picked up a slimboyzz high output t-5 4' 8 bulb for $50 so I figured wtf y not just use this! I know it wouldn't compare to a hps, but that is my next buy. I've been seeing a few high yeild grows on here with t5s tho an figured it couldn't hurt to put it to use. As for being a newb I've grown before and seen many friends grows so..but I'm always down to learn stuff...thanks again guys
