Hail or What?

Any idea what this is. We had some Hail 2 weeks ago when this leaf would have been a little smaller, otherwise not sure what else it is.

I think that's a bug... not hail.... but I've certainly been wrong before.

Could simply be where water beaded up and made a prism that thus magnified the sun and burned thru it, not unlike lighting a fire w/a magnifying glass. Just a guess.

I looked all over and didnt see any bugs!

Any other Ideas what it could be...

Gypsies? I hear they always cause problems.
