nice buds mate :) a just harvested as well .

but dont store them in a plastic tub like that as the plastic will absorb the thc while drying .

nice lookin buds blazin. enjoy

plastic absorbs thc? do u have ne more info on that. I see a lot of people on here curing in glass, but still see a lot of experienced growers usin plastic. im hesitant to believe this

it is a Myth, I've seen Curing done in large amounts of nuggs in large Plastic rubber-maid bins, though its not the most effective. Your better off using a seal able glass jar. Will taste better as well. oO looks mighty nice.

I guess it all depends how much herb your dealing w/.

i personly would not temp fate after all the time and efort put in to them

myth or not a myth no harm putting them in glass if there is possibilty of the plastic taking any thc .

My first harvest, and I have to share pics. 16 oz off of one plant. Couldn't be happier.

tanka, that there looks like some fuckin grade A dank dude. Mad props to u for that shit. N how'd u pulll that much off one plant? indoors?? i'd love to check your setup out.

About curing..
Its pretty common for people to say that glass is the best way to go when curing bud, n theyre right for the most part. Plastic is NOt the best way to cure by any means at all. BUT, if you dont have glass, you could always do what the dutch do -- you dry the whole plant on a line, when dry, take your plants and put them in a long cardboard box, without trimming all of the smaller leaves that need manicuring. They stuff their plants in these boxes, seal up the top, and then smush it down a little bit, to press on the trichomes, and get them to smear all over the buds. Now, im not a Master grower or anything, so i cant vouch for this method yet, but i do know that Arjan and Franco are pretty good at what they do, and ive been to greenhouse's coffeeshop in Amsterdam. Their buds are fuckin premium ass dank. I dont know what the absolute best way to cure is, but the cardboard box method really aint one of the worst, thats for DAMN sure, lol.

looks like dude who posted this thread picked a lil too early

i know its kinda been a while, but i gotta get in on this :D:D:D:D:D
wakantanka, THAT IS DAMN FUCKING IMPRESSIVE NOT TO MIND FOR A FIRST GROW :D
and also, i dont care if its a myth that its not good to cure in a plastic container. It might be a myth that singing to my plant at night promotes any growth, but i still do it :D

Definitely not a myth. The science here is thc glands are negatively charged. when they come in contact with plastic they stick to the surface of the plastic.. This is not the case with glass. So go the extra mile and get you some balli jars (walmart has them on sale right now... buy one get one free singles or cases). they are not as expensive as you think. and your buds will smell much better too.

just get a air tight glass jar...its well worth it, since you babied your plant till harvest might as well give her a nice resting place. i mean if you can afford all the gear for your plants why stop now...you can used it again anyways

Yeah I was under the impression that it was not because plastic absorbed the thc from your weed, it's because plastic isn't as easy to make air tight as a glass canning jar. But i wouldn't doubt it if plastic did hinder the quality of the crop in some way or another. Awesome pictures man , way to go. I'll send you my address and you can send me a sample of the goods.:)
