I guess the acculumated wisdom came through decades of many growers discussing their techniques and the results of their grows. Thats different from constantly tweaking.
Besides, it comes round to the point I made earlier, some are in it for the honour and some are in it for the dollar.
My setup is more-or-less dialled in. I don't see what 'experimentation' I could really do besides try new additives. Im not one for fuckin with the photo-period. But to each his own.

O no I understand where you are coming from! That is why I will show you what I'm working on.
I'm working on a growing room that will be 8'w x 4'd x 8'h that I will split into 3 rooms (bloom/veg/clone), I hope you can see that I have come up with a dialed in way that I'm going to do things I'm just getting the fine tuning down right.
The fans I will be running on the room with 120mm PC fans about 16 of them with light traps fixed to room, and fans inside as well.

Sounds like a plan. ... Whats with the PC fans? If you're going to the trouble why go 'that' ghetto?
How you doing your clones? tonight im building my 2nd DIY 50 site aero cloner. I love it, insert clones and forget about it.

The fan(s) I'm going to use, I'm not really sure, I'm looking at a 6" inline for the flower room and smaller fans in the veg/clone side, plus I'm working with a "barter and trade" budget. All the wood I am trying to getting for free from the construction workers at my job (if not supplies will run about $175.00). I have an update to the clones in my journal.

Experimentation vs. business - you can do both. Have a grow in which you use tried and true techniques to yield the largest harvest possible, while on the side carry out experimental grows to see if you can make improvements.
