I had a mouse problem to where they dug the sealing out of the ac line and I believe let light in cause I put a light on one side and could see the light outside. Long story short had all my animal cookie phenos herm and 1 of the strawberry glu closest to the light hole. I took clones and killed the others my question is should I kill the clones too or do you think the light is to blame and I should kick my HPS off leave led (save money) and test my luck again. Also all are seeds I found not bought from breeder so I’m assuming they have the herm gene trait to begin with. Lmk you thoughts

Never doubt the genetics of a plant that has hermied based only on a single instance of severe shock.

The clones *could* turn out to have a hermie trait, but equally as possible is the strain is fine, and was just subjected to enough shock to disturb that one plant.

Grow out the clones. You may be wonderfully surprised.

Worst case scenario, the strain has been bred with a hermie trait and you'll have to scrap the lot.

Why throw away what may be still good? I clone plants in advance specifically to circumvent or get around situations (or to test them directly) such as this to see if certain traits show up or not. I've never tested a hermie trait, but I have several others. I throw the batch (or strain) out when I'm certain it's no good for my grow areas.
