They’re usually 12v, but there’s probably a label on them to be sure.Yes, the fans are in series with the leds. I was thinking x2 Cree CXB3590 (3500k 80 CRI)'s for each driver. Fans are typically 9V, right?
Excellent, should still work out. They’re usually 12v, but there’s probably a label on them to be sure.
You can still run two 36v cobs though. Most are going to have forward voltage around 34-35v at that current. You really want to run cxb’s? For a light hack at that current, I’d see if @CobKits still has some of those gen 5 citi 1212’s under $10. Four of them would get you a real nice light inexpensively.
Shoot, looks like they are sold out of the 5's in the 3500k and the only have 3 of the Gen 6's. Any other suggestions for me?They’re usually 12v, but there’s probably a label on them to be sure.

I wasn't able to figure out the PDF file, sorry i'm still a noob to this. That’s the route I would go then on a budget. You could also check out some vero 18’s. I think arrow electronics carries them and has 15% off code right now. Probably similar price.
Do you plan on using from seed to harvest? Send him message through the website and ask what he has that will work for you.
Anything like 3000-3500k 80cri or even 3000k-4000k 90cri would all work fine for that. Even 4000k 80cri will flower ok, it’s just probably not as ideal as the others. For upgrading a blurple panel like that any of them that you can do reasonable job of filling driver is going to be a substantial upgrade. So poke around and see what you can get cheap.I wasn't able to figure out the PDF file, sorry i'm still a noob to this.
I plan on going from seed to harvest. Cool, thanks man.
Probably. If it were the same exact driver would likely be a better candidate for eb gen 2. The strength of the f series is holding performance at higher current. You can usually score the eb gen 2 at about half the price, since current is already determined I think you’d get a little more for your money with the eb.I have a few old blurples laying around i'd like to re-purpose. They all have similar dual ballast setup as the OP's. Would an F series hack be possible? Cookie sheet hack but reuse ballast and fans???
