H2O2 Question ... anyone seen it break up slime?

Hey, I'm in my 3rd week of growing my current plants. I haven't been using very much H2O2, but this latest reservoir change I used the recommended amount 3 ml per 4 L (if i recall). Now, I have a MOUNDS of slime that has magically appeared within 2 hours of finishing the reservoir change, it's white and flaky in appearance. Is this from introducing H2O2 to the reservoir at a higher level? Anyone have any experience with it literally stripping all the slime out of your reservoir and and hoses and making it float in the reservoir/buckets?

I lost 50% of a crop to mold one time, and I'm not in the mood to fuck around.

Everything about the room is PERFECT, only difference is the H2O2.

Drainijng the reservoir... but nervous to add H2O2 again ;_; but the sick twisted side of me says to keep doing it until the slime is gone. COMMENTS?

Still some slime in my reservoir after changing it out, but much less than yesterday. Did the H2O2 strip slime off the walls of my system, or is it some sort of beneficial bacteria.

h202 kills anything living so it's not beneficial bacteria. Do you clean out your res tank when you change the water? If not, then yea it's prob shit coming out that you never clean.

I use the cap ebb and gro system. I hose out my reservoir as best I can, but I can never fully clean it because there is a lot of standing water that remains in each bucket. Should I keep emptying my reservoir until I'm slime free?

I ran into the same issue and here is how it finialy went away,

During veg I drained and washed (as in hot water and soap) every two weeks, carefull to realy clean it like it was new. Second I would fill it with about 5 gallons of water, I installed a circulation pump in the res, (nine gallon res) with the circulation pump running i added 1/2 gallon of water that I mixed with my first nute, than the same with the other two one at a time. I was very careful to add them only after I had mixed the crap out of them one by one. Than I finished up filling the res with the circulation pump running all the time. After that with it installed I turned on the regular pump, filled the tray and tested the ph. That is when I would mix the final ph up or down in to make it perfect. This was the only way I ever got rid of the slime. I used to mix all the nutes together with the h202 and then put it in the res with water this did not work for me. One at a time is the only way i got rid of it. During flower i did this same process every week. Hope this helps

you should get with hellraizer, he's been doing ebb and gro for a long time now and I do remember when he was dealing with slime, I think he started using aquashield and solved all his problems, I'm pretty sure he used beneficial bacteria at one time but I think he's using nothing but aquashield now. find him here.... https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/505421-hellraizers-do-donts-outs-ebb.html

you should post water temps and nutrients you use, lots of details you need to add.
Water temp 65-70, PPM 1050 (Technaflora Recipe for success, vegatative forumla). Like I mentioned temperature, pH, nutrient levels are all perfect.
