H2o2 In hydro as a permanent item in nutes.

Hey guys

So I grow in DWC and have air stones, clean everything all the time, and have kept the same nute feed of AN/greenplanet for the last year. But for some reason Pythium has infested my grow this month. This was just after I switched from sensizym to hygrozyme. What a damn mess. I have been using h2o2 to clean up. But I have also read that it is good to use in hydro. In the past i used beneficials but they aren't doing the job now. Can i switch over completely and be safe. I dont want to deal with this slimy goo ever again. thanks

Yes you can, but remember that h202 evaporates very quickly, so it needs to be added every other or every third day. Your reservoir size determines how much you should add.

I use a product called AquaShield from Botanicare. It's cleared up everything I've ever had in the reservoir.

Now heres the next question. Is this going to effect the size of my plants. I mean Im pulling 5oz with the beneificials, but again they don't seem to be doing the job right now. I heard that h2o2 can be great for the plants, but is it really that good?

I use h2o2 in every watering now, but im top feed drain to waste promix. It has however taken away the need for the fancier more expensive shit, my plants are loving it. There may be better root stimulating products out there, but it keeps my rootzone healthy with nice fat white roots, and in the world of growing there is something to be said for taking and using a working "good" instead of a possible "better"

True that, I just dont want to lose anymore plants to this nastyness. lol. Just want to make sure that I'm aiming in the right direction here. Thanks for the info guys. I think I'm gonna set up like and I.V. drip system. drips a little in each day. save me some time and a damn headache.

From what I hear people have been having success with "bobs brew", apparantly it removes all bacteria, good and bad like h2o2, but has some root shit in there. Its not expensive, but its also not as cheap as h2o2

Hmm this Bob's Brew sounds interesting any links for where I might be able to find some of this magic liquid? I'm gonna go ahead and google it but I was hoping to be lazy about this computer stiff tonight LOL

This is the stuff your talking about. sounds interesting but if it removes organics, how is it safe for organic use. double talk? LOL and basically anything it says after that is the same as H2O2, just more mild. Sounds like its good for calmag applications too.
