Its not needed. If you love yellow plants then use. For sure will give you pre mature yellowing.

It tells your plants they've got 4 weeks to live. If you do use it, don't use it for more than 3 days in hydro and 5 days in drain-to-waste.

Canna recommends just one week for their ph 13/14 too. More than that would probably damage the plant more than help it, otherwise they'd tell you to use it for the entire grow just to sell more product. If you get above a certain range for potassium, yields go down-I think a lot of these products do more harm than good.
