So how would that work, would it be like when Chicago put in strict gun laws and reduced their gun violence or would it be like when marijuana prohibition was going full bore and it completely wiped out marijuana for ever and ever ?

I'm not bitching about paying for things I made an agreement on and that I use. That's responsibility.

I'm bitching about the things which people force others to pay for, even when the other person doesn't use those things or has no viable opportunity to chose another service or product supplier. That's extortion.

That was a nice thing to say about my mom, thank you. I'll roll over and tell your mom, something nice too.

So, if I provide a so called service that you didn't ask for and didn't contract with me for, you'd still owe me money?

If I came to your house while you were away and mowed the lawn and painted your house, even though you never asked me to, and didn't want me to, you'd still owe me money ?

I hope you pay me, because I'd like to take my mom out for lunch.

Property tax is an oxymoron. Property when owned implies control over something, that's the fundamental characteristic of ownership.

Tax, implies an external control over something and is most often (always?) backed by a threat of force for noncompliance.

So merging the two distinctly separate meanings into one concept, is oxymoronic and Orwellian government speak.

Yes, I've looked into the evils of property taxes and in particular government schools and found that they were implemented to indoctrinate people and continue to be useful in that regard today. How much have YOU looked into the Prussian School system and why it was brought to the USA ?

You might want to bring some lube, mom's in her eighties.

Lube ??? Dude what do you think is going to happen when I take your mother to lunch :shock:. We will eat and spend quality time talking about how fucked up her son has become. She will say over and over " I didn't raise him to be this way " I will assure her that no ones blames her for the path her weird as adult son chose. We then will spend time at bingo. I hope she wins. She can light up the room with her smile...dentures or not.
Do you ever go to your local park ? Library ? Do you want police, fire, or any public safety in you neighborhood ? Do you or your wife travel via maintained road to the grocery store ? We all know that you and family abused the fuck out of public schooling. Fuck Robbie we may need to raise your property tax for all the services you are using.

My MIL has trouble following the conversation but it sounds like a nice respectful, sociable and pleasant afternoon. Totally unlike any kind of interaction that Rob's mother can possibly have with her foul son.
