Gun control is coming

I commend your honesty
Thank you. It never really had much of an effect on my life except for legal fees and such so I freely talk about it. I was just a paperwork drill so the prosecutor had a higher conviction number and another sentence to write on his annual review.

I can see losing your patience, but it's possible to be right and still be an asshole. That, in fact, is the perfect way for your point to be lost, and all they remember is someone who disagrees with them is an asshole.

Remember, you're dealing with "morons".
Dude,

You followed me around this site to say you agree with me but don't like how I said it.

I'm not sorry I hurt your feelings. You shouldn't follow me around but I guess you have some sort of attraction to people who abuse you.

At the risk of inflaming your libido by heaping more abuse on you, I'll just say that your replies are boring and uninteresting because you are not informed on the issues, so just go away puppy. You have nothing to say that deserves the electrons needed to carry your words to the internet.

Lol, you don't have the ability to hurt my feelings.

Didn't you put me on ignore?

I did put you on ignore. I'm surprised the neurons that held the memory are still alive.

So, why exactly do you follow me around? To harass and spam people? Is that your purpose here?

I don't really mind guns, but it is out of hand.

Ban foreign sales of guns into our country.
Ban new assault weapons sales.
Gun buyback programs nationwide.
Background checks on all 'private' sales (gunshows and family members).

It won't stop violence, but it should help slow it down a bit from spraying a hundred insanely powerful bullets in moments.

Why ban foreign guns? What could that possibly do to help? The big problem is your guns are making their way into other countries by the thousands and creating havoc, and that is mostly due to no federal registration and lax tracking after sales. Foreign guns are the least of your issues. Besides that would mean my Baretta shotgun would be illegal for no good reason that I can see. You guys need to do something but don’t take it to the point where the only recourse of intelligent law abiding gun owners is to decry the changes, then nothing gets accomplished, it’s a big enough struggle without the benign shit.

The people least willing to give up their guns are the people that shouldn't have had them in the first place. These low caliber idiots are going to just have to find another hobby. Maybe they can learn how to read, or set their sights on personal hygiene, just a thought.
The people who won't give up their guns understand the value of the Bill of Rights and are true patriots.

You are just fucking stupid and a traitor to the ideals of this nation.

There is no reason someone needs to order a gun online. We know the Russians have been identifying every mentally unstable person here in America (at the very least, every country too I am sure, the data is easy enough to get), now it turns out they are sending our unstable citizens thousands of rounds of ammo. If people can pass a background check, they should be fine finding the bullets/tool to make their own bullets legally. Having a mail order gun shop is too low hanging fruit for a hostile actor not to exploit.

EL PASO, Texas (AP) — The suspected gunman in the deadly mass shooting at an El Paso Walmart earlier this month told police that the AK-style rifle he used in the attack came from Romania, according to an investigative report.

Full Coverage: El Paso, Texas, mass shooting
The Texas Tribune reported Wednesday that Patrick Crusius, 21, told police he ordered the weapon online before picking it up at a gun store near his suburban Dallas home. The Tribune cited a Texas Department of Public Safety document that also says the suspect told police he purchased thousands of rounds of ammunition from Russia.

Yeah but you know a lot of moms won't think twice about taking their kids guns from her basement and getting that cash.

So he couldn’t have just bought the rifle at the gun shop? Can you not just order domestically? Also first I ve heard of the Russian thing. So they picked this guy and sent him ammo just because? He ordered it right? Again could he have not order domestically? Like I said pick the sensible stuff to fight for would be more successful IMO.

Ya that’s gonna make people take you seriously FFS. If reasonable people keep the fight on a level that makes sense shit may get done. That’s the big issue you’ve got down there. Two extreme sides fighting a battle that never gets solved.

I am really almost ambivalent to this issue, but this seems like a reasonable thing to do. Russia has been collecting data from online purchases too on those little knick knack online places too and adding it to the massive amount they already have in real time updates. Everything you type, click, scroll, how long you have shit open, everything is being tracked by these assholes. And they are also in all these game/forum chats finding the radicalizable kids/people, and sending them guns and ammo. The gun was purchased legally online from Romania, sent to a gun store to sign off on giving the kid his gun as long as he passed whatever check Texas requires.

The thousands of rounds of ammo the guy had came from Russia, I am not sure anything other than that, but don't like the idea of them being able to ship bullets to people they identify as potential nutbags radicalized by their years of listening to hate trolls.
Crusius told them the Romanian rifle was delivered to Gun Masters, a gun store in Allen, Texas, according to the report. There is no gun store by that name in Allen, but there is a store called Gunmaster in nearby Plano.

An employee of the store told The Associated Press the owner was not available and questions would need to be sent by email.

Gunmaster did not respond to written questions Wednesday. The shop’s gunsmith, Brian Park, told the Tribune Tuesday that he did not know whether Crusius received a gun there.

El Paso police said shortly after the shooting that killed 22 people that the rifle was purchased legally .

Experts say buying guns online is common.

“Just like any other retail, brick-and-mortar is taking a back seat to the internet,” said David Prince, the owner of Dallas-area Eagle Gun Range.

To legally purchase a weapon online, the buyer must have it shipped to a licensed gun dealer who records the firearm’s make, mark and serial number before performing a background check. If the person passes, they can have the gun.

This allows law enforcement to identify the original buyer of a gun if it’s used in a crime or is stolen.

Seriously you make it sound like the Russians are sending ammo and guns to people knowing they are going to kill people with them. The people are allowed to order online from anywhere. Could that be the problem? Online ordering I mean? The foreign gun thing is irrelevant and just to clarify you said the sale and import of foreign arms not the online ordering thing ;). Again if you want to accomplish anything it has to be done in an intelligent way that will make sense to the masses. Banning foreign guns is not a solution. Banning online sales of any weapon may.

I am saying they know the people who are capable of committing mass murder by the types of posts they make/like/respond to, and yes they are sending them bullets. It is not hard for me to think that they are willing to do it on purpose, and it would not be hard for them to do. It's the same everywhere, gangs, terrorist organizations, Russians, they identify weak targets, and suck them into their cause. It is just cat fishing.

That works for me, stop all online/mail orders on guns/ammo would clean that up nicely.

Well maybe the States could do the same re checking online threats vulnerabilities for gun ownership ...... wouldn’t that be a grand ideal. If the Russians can/are it should be easy. It’s sounding a tad conspiratorial but perhaps I’m not paying attention :(.

It sucks but I totally feel the same way even saying it, but it is all in the reports/news it just keeps getting drowned out by POTUS tweets about multicultural freshmen congresswomen or any of the other red meat Trump tosses out to distract us.
