Guerrilla patch and water demands? Any advice?

Im doing a guerilla garden this summer and was wondering:

1. How long can plants be left without watering, considering that it did not rain?

2. What are good tips on incressing water rentention so I dont have to go up there more than once a week? (mulch, polymere crystals, planting deeper and vermiculite)

3. Any simple to build watering systems? (Keep in mind I have to take a 1h hike to get to the spot so heavy equipment id have to carry is a no-no.)

Last summer I dug a well hole by hand. If theres a low lying area near by theres a good chance you can dig for water. I only had to go a few feet deep at the biggining of the year but as the water table drops it needs to be dug out more. Mine was six feet deep by the end of the year.
It might seem like alot of work but its nothing compared to hualing water in, and the hole is there for future use also.

raised beds dry out a lot faster. I would probably try to plan on watering your plants at least once a week, a full size marijuana plant in bud can take 5 gallons of water every day. Mulch is the key, can be as simple as lawn clippings, grass, leaves, etc, anything that covers the soil and keeps it moist and cool. I get a lot of precipitation around here, I can transplant 3 week old seedlings into the ground, give them a little water to start, and not water the entire growing season, and still have a decent harvest from them. Most likely, the more often you can give them water, the bigger they will get, as long as you do not over water.

mind telling us what state ur in?

lol state? I am up in canada, where the beer is ice cold, and we all live in igloo's.
That makes sense. i Believe most areas in the states will require watering once a week from what everyone says. I was curious what area you are in that you can only water once and still get some buds.

I live in quebec, Canada... it rains almost evrey week, but we also have really hot days...sometimes a couple in a row...i guess keeping an eye out on the internet weather forcast will help alot and give me an idea of when i need to water them..

I live in that region also.
If you are doing guerilla a tip I found awesome was to go to a pond store and buy a liner or some black tarp, dig a pond sized hole, and make trenches leading to it for water to fill it up. Works great no hauling water just leave a bucket in the woods or something and you are set!

Im in ontario, Stonerman is right, if you start your seedlings inside 3-6 weeks, then put them out in large holes well watered at the start. You really don't need to go back until harvest. We get enough rain to keep plants out in the wild alive.
