Guerrilla Grow Questions?

Alright so this is not gonna be my fifth grow I'm going at although I have completely changed climates and are no where close to the equator anymore I'm all the way up in the mountains in New England. I know is may seem like a started late but it just started getting warmer, sunnier and longer days. I've already scouted out some spots, but I just have a few questions. I have soil from my home garden but not much and I don't have a budget for this. If the Ph levels are good is the soil fine to plant in if I break it up and at fertilizer?
Second question would be should I put protection around my plants from animals and what's is better a few small clusters of plants or scattered plants? This should be all for now. Oh and if I germinate, sprout, and then plant in the woods with they survive?

dont plant in the woods, u will end up with shitty bud, also i would never use native soil unless u have 0$ especialy with such a late start as is, my advice would be to find a nice overgrown field/swamp good luck grower

Amend the native soil in some way.. whether it be with compost/composted manure or mixed with quality topsoil.. I'd germ at home keep them under veg lighting for at least two weeks. This weather has been nuts and in my opinion, the seedlings might not handle the elements.
I don't know how your state is with eradication so I'm not sure if it'd be better to scatter or have small plots but I'd definitely fashion some sort of fencing around the plants to keep the animals out. Good luck!

I went to numerous areas and dug up the soil it feels and looks rich with added fertilizer I should be fine.
At the very least try and screen it to get the bigger rocks out if you can. Most of my outdoor grows have been in the forest and as long as you take care of the plants and have decent genetics you'll end up with some dank.

Forests usually have rich sool from the humus created over many years of natural composting. Drainage is a different story though. Have you dug a hole and filled with water to check drainage? Hogwire makes for good protection and bud supports
