To start off, this is not directed at one individual just the mass all together.
1.) I hate it when people automatically assume that when they create a new post for help they will have the answer spoon fed to them right away.
2.) If they don't get the answer within a few hours they whine, saying "I've heard all the rumors were bad about these forums, and now i know they are true! this place sucks for user input!".
1.) A.) Listen, most of us didn't have a forum setup or an online resource when we started growing, be happy that you, the grower, have this resource at hand. I personally learned the hard way, and watched as my MONTHS of hard work had to be thrown away.
1.) B.) Don't expect everyone on here to have the answer, sometimes your own ideas may be the best ones. We don't know your home, your climate, your environment. Everything with growing a plant starts with you the grower. Remember that and you will have great success, or you will quit.
1.) C.) When someone does give you advice, try it on one plant! Don't do it on your whole garden just because you seen someone else's grow and they did it, so it should work on mine. WRONG!!! If i did everything (I have tried) that Jorge Cervantes did in his videos my plants would be dead, and they ended up that way.
1.) D.) Try and tailor your garden to you. Try a few small plants at first then grow big!
2.) A.) I've got to say that someone yelling on a forum about how slow the responses are really puts me in the mood to respond to that person. In a negative way that is. Listen here is a fact, be nice, be patient, and you will get your answer. Just because you may have to wait a few days to get a solid answer, doesn't mean you have to be mean to the rest of us here.
2.) B.) DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! Buy books!!! You know those things made out of paper?!!? Buy DVD's that show you IDEAS on how to grow. There are a ton of informational articles on how to grow, and guess what? All you need to do is search it. I understand that the forum is a place for help, i'm not putting down that fact. But, what I am saying is that while you are patiently waiting for a response from another member, do some research.
2.) C.) Take pride in the fact that you are on a "Higher" learning forum. A place where everyone can openly discuss on idea, or multiple. Ignore the A holes whom put this forum down. If you are here making posts on these forums, then obviously yo didn't believe their BS, or you do and just want an answer. Realize that we are all here for one common goal (taking a big hit right now......one sec.........
) Ok, so where was i? OHHH ya, that goal need s to be the motivation that drives you here, so be polite to everyone.
