Hey guys,
This is only my second grow, wasn't sure if I should post here or in the newbies section...
Growing 6 plants, two strains. Four are Sativa, the other two Indica, both from quality feminized seeds purchased from Dr. Chronic, paid about $90USD for 8 seeds.
Growing outside, same soil (MiracleGro Potting Mix), same containers (16" diameter pots with drain holes), same lighting (all near each other) and same watering. I tested the pH and all fall between 6.5 and 7.0.
Yet, three of the six have not grown in weeks, maxing out at 2-3 inches. The other three seem to be growing normally and are up to about a foot each with a nice branch and leaf spread.
Both Indicas and one of the Sativas are fine, the other three Sativas are seriously stunted.
There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with them, other than their small size and the fact that they stopped growing. There is no leaf discoloration, welting, spots, etc. They appear just like they did a few weeks ago, tiny but healthy seedlings. I could post pics if necessary, but didn't think it would be based on this info?
One mistake I made is that I planted too late in the year (mid-July in California), so I don't expect them to get very big before they start flowering but that can't be the cause of the stunting, I'm sure... Especially that the other three seem to be ok.
Not sure what to do... I feel saddened every day when I got out to check them out. It's like having six kids but three of them are retarded
I love them all equally and want to help, but feel helpless...
Thanks in advance,
Pete
