My friend has been growing a jock horror plant for about 6 weeks since it broke soil. It's only about 1 foot tall it's real bushy and green it just seems like the growth is slow. I see people's pictures and there plants seem a lot bigger. How tall should a plant be at 6 weeks from seed?

Growing in coco 75/25 perlite
Currently under cfls
Fox farms nutes
Water is phd to around 5.8
18/6 light cycle

How tall should your kid , sorry, your "friend's kid" be at 6 years old?
No real answer.
Ask your 'friend' to put up some pics.

Lol not 6 years bro thing would be a tree. I don't think my friend has an up to date pic maybe he can get one at some point. Well it was in a smaller pot maybe a gallon but it's now in a 2 gallon pot. My friend was planning to repot to a 5 gallon and then place it in a flower room with 2 175 watt hps lights. Do you think he would be better repotting it and letting it veg longer before putting it in flower.

He meant theres no way to tell the height no matter how old it is.. Strain, and environment play a major effect in speed of growth.. Tell your 'friend' to let the thing grow before repotting again.. To much ssoil makes over watering alot easier to do.. and just is unecessary

I use CFL's, I always have short bushes. With CFL you tend to have extremely thick stems, massive growth but never tall. Even my Blue Dream rarely goes above 24" at 8 weeks veg. You will notice extensive root growth with CFL, requiring large pots right from the start. In the beginning I had to transplant every 5 days due to extensive rootbind. CFl's encourage all the traits we want during vegetative growth so dont fret. If you are not seeing continuous growth you are probably rootbound and need a bigger pot. CFL's tend to break all the rules which result in MH and HPS growers assuming there are problems. I grow sativa strains with CFL and never have tall plants but always get good yields since I top and LST (taking advantage of the short bushy traits).

Put em in a 5 gallon and veg em for two more weeks, then switch to flower 5 gallon should take you all the way to harvest...if not you have a massive root system
