unfortuanately only the labella are fem seeds. the rest are a toss up, thats why i have so many under just a 400, i figure with 10, 2 being fem, i should get 5-6 females.

ok, heres pics from today, notice the bending on the labella, it makes kind of a spiral, but i took pics of the split in the bend, and the dimple. also the Jackie-o i tried to show how the fan leaves alternate direction, tried to show the diff between topping and lst, ill repost and try to explain em each, still haven't got the patience to insert em in correct order.

Hey Convict,

You look good overall. Don't worry bout the twisted leaf. You can remove those fan leaves close to the bottom there just draggin ya down.
also when did ya take the pic, middle of there day, when the light came on, end of there day?
We need to get those leaves pointing towards the light. May need to dry them out.

i took the pics @ 9:45 pm, the light goes off @ 10 pm. i didnt water today, and all of the leaves have tightened up, their praying to the light today . all of my new growth is odd feeling, shriveled up looking . like usually this same growth would be alot wider leaf sets, darker in color as well. wont have a camera again till sunday night, maybe monday, they have a dry lizard tail like feel as well, just the tops and new leaves, they curl inward rolling themselves up like a small green dry fruit roll up? this could just be my paranoia im scanning the forums for plant symptoms. i know it isnt over watering, know it isnt heat as the on temps have been 75-78. could be ventilation, light might be too close, although it is cool to my hand, leme measure lights 15 inches from tops.

Did you raise it? You should till they get right. thats what I think light intensity..go to 24 inches for a few days see what happens...

moved light up another 5 inches, so 20 from tops, water today with just water, just in case they needed a flush, just gave untill i got drainage, didnt seem like nearley enough, the bags still feel kindof light, but im gonna wait a few days anyways. then back to nutes.the gnarly growth i talked abaout earlier is filling out somewhat, i spray them 5 times a day or more, or less, just a when i think about it schedule, with just water, when my spray bottle gets empty i refill it with my nute mix, half, then water the rest, so they get a weakend nute spray, then water spray, then weak nutes, so on, every week, im thinking the light too close and the amount of water i was applying, was makin em dry out as the water evaporated, cooking the fresh leaves, but not actually cooking them, im gonna cut back n the misting, just to be safe.

Hi Convict,
I'm Pot4Pain's Dad. Just to set the record straight, I'd like to explain further what you got.

Cred-this was a very bushy Columbian Red that took about 70 days and didn't finish outdoors on time. I had acquired an Auto Affie that was crossed with Trainwreck x Ogres (TWOG as I call it). All the auto generating traits are removed from backcrossing back to the TWOG until stabilized. What it will do is shave off about 10 days to over 2 weeks off the finishing time and an increased potency to an already nice sat. Taste was nothing spectacular, peppered-earth. This cross should finish in about 65 days, maybe a few sooner.

JackiO- Aeric77's Calio x Jacks Candy. This too was crossed with the AATWOG and should finish about the same time. It might also carry on a Mango taste (Orange x Afghani). Most of these were your typical columnar Christmas Trees that would have liked an additional 2 weeks or so. The freeze caused me to pull everything before it's time, glad the seeds matured. ( 9 out of 10 germ rate). Should be a descent yielder.

TWOG- This is actually an Auto Affie x Trainwreck x Ogres. This was the main reason for seeding an entire crop. I needed those TWOG (AA) genetics to reduce the outdoor finishing times up here and plan on crossing many other strains we can't normally run outdoors. These aren't the biggest yielders but will probably become your favorite night time med. Nice earthy hash type flavour. These will probably be done in 55-60 days but I let them go until that first freeze, around the 70 day point.

On a side note, Purple Pakistanis also have Auto phylotaxy traits in it but I haven't had time to play around with that yet. My goal this year is to have a more potent DJ's Blueberry x TWOG and maybe even cross it over to the Black Bubba. The Blk. Bubba barely finishes on a normal year, it needs 70.

A tip on watering: especially if you use Roots Organics or Coco soil. Wait until your leaves slightly turn limp (or fully limp). This promotes deeper root penetration and a tougher stem. You do run a fan also? In a standard beer cup, I water 2-3 days. Mine are 16" in those cups and need fert suppliments because of the root lockup. I give those ferts every 3rd watering but should pick it up to once every 2 waterings. I'll flip these once I find out where P4P packed away the timers.
Hope this helps.
