What like is the bubbler for growing plants? Is it worth buying?

Have you grown in soil before?

Bubbler? You mean like a Hydroponic system? If so then it basically is a system that replaces soil with water to allow more precise nutrient calculations and more importantly supplies more air to the roots for a faster growing plant. If this is the system you mean though then no for you it would not be worth it to get one whether it be from building or from buying it. Get a couple grows going first in soil or atleast do some reading before you plot down the money for a system like this.

A bubbler basically pumps highly oxygenated water over the root system. Different than hydroponics, but it's all pretty much the same thing. Aeroponics sprays water from under the plants which basically mists the roots, and through misting the water picks up oxygen, doing about the same thing.
Hydroponics is commonly thought of using a flood and drain, or a top drip method. both of these ways, water your plants, and then leave the plant to absorb oxygen through it's roots because the mediums used typically don't hold much water (I'm speaking more to clay aggregate, and not rock wool, as I mean once the root systems are developed, so rockwool as it does hold water, it's just the way the roots are watered in hydro are similar, from what I understand.

I haven't used one, I have heard they are good from those who invested in them... They are less forgiving for a new grower, and as someone asked an educated question, have you grown in dirt before? It's where most start off learning with bag seed, as we all make mistakes. I jumped into hydro for a first grow, and sometimes wish I had gone one grow in soil to learn how the plant grows, and if I messed something up, or didn't put importance on things like PH, etc, my whole crop in hydro would go poopy, pretty quick.. you can get away with a bit more in soil. But, there are a few bubbleponics forums, so I would start reading there, and look for grow journals with bubbleponics, and google, as there are some videos on utube that show how to make them, and you can see how it works.. compare with other types of systems, and see what you want to try.

They are, as far as I understand, different ways of accomplishing the same thing.. The bubbler that I saw basically was a tote with holes cut in the lid and net potsholding clay aggregate, but inside the tote, water lines ran from a submerged pump and water line ran to each net pot inside the tote and ran the highly oxygenated water over the root system. In my opinion very similar to any other hydro set up... I have an ebb and Flow for flowering and drip fed mothers, and I hand water clones... I have air stones in my resevours, so the babies are fed highly oxygenated water too, I just have trays and res.. not all contained in a tote with hanging pots... But ya, they are all based on the same premis from what I know of them!

Thanks as soon as I saw it I started howling.. so I downloaded it and found it about a week ago while going through my files, I was going to use the one posted in my profile page, but this one was way better..

As Illegal said, there are some really informative posts in the section you are looking at growing.. I know you will get all the help you need out here most people are really great about answering silly questions (I was mainly talking about my own here, not yours), but the more you read, the more you'll know. Get familiar with the diagnosing plant problems page... just know where it is.. it's saved me some headaches a few times... one to recognize nute burn and overwatering and the other was a ph problem, easily and quickly fixed. Anyway, Illegal's got his set up going.. he's the man to talk to

Bubbleponics is just a more specific hydroponic term. The term Hydroponics by definition covers nearly all forms of growing where the main medium for the roots is nutrient filled water.
